Activated Carbon

Activated carbon is an adsorbent and is the general term for substances, whose internal surface is increased in the activation process.

Highly Porous

Activated carbon is a highly porous form of carbon. 

Due to the high number of pores, activated carbon has an unimaginably large surface area.

The activated carbon particles (carbon atoms) attract gaseous or liquid particles (molecules), that are surrounding or flowing through the activated carbon.

If the activated carbon is impregnated it is able to neutralise toxins.

Granulated & Honey Comb

We offer two types of carbon impregnated granulated carbon, which can be found in our ABEK, AMMONIA, H2S (according with EN14387) filters, and  honey comb carbon, which is used in our CAT 4 filters (according with EN15695-2).
