Optical Indicators

The optical version is designed to trigger a red band shown at the top of the indicator, this indicates maintenance needs to be carried out.

Pressing the top of the indicator will remove the red band & reset the indicator.

Electrical Indicators

The electrical version is designed to trigger off an electric signal indicating maintenance must be carried out.

The signal can be used to control a visual or an acoustic warning.

How to identify a Virgis Sentinel Indicator

Sentinel product codes are made up of three elements. Type, variation and mbar. Example SE-14600-508 (type/variation/mbar).

Type

If the indicator is an optical its part number will start with a SI. If its a electrical type it will start with a SE.

Variations

The five digit number in the middle of the indicator's product code is a variation number. There are many different variation of indicators such as fitting type and with or without an adapter. All specifications are in the Virgis Air Cleaner Catalogue or on the product listing pages.

mm H₂O

All Virgis Sentinel Indicators are colour coded depending on the H₂O figure.

762 are yellow, 635 are green, 508 are black and 350 are blue.
